Lily and Rose High Summer Collection – Gorgeous Swedish Designed Bridal Jewellery

I recently received a lovely invitation to a Champagne reception to celebrate the launch of the latest jewellery collection from Lily and Rose at their Notting Hill boutique. Much to my disappointment, due to the rather unglamorous reason that I had to do the school run here in Cheshire, I wasn’t able to make it.  Luckily for us though Leanne of Leanne Jade Photography went along for Adored Bride to give us a glimpse of this beautiful collection of jewellery. In Leanne’s words ‘Geez Louise it was gorgeous!”

Lily and Rose is the sister brand of bridal wear design label Zetterberg Couture. Both the bridal wear and the jewellery collection are lovingly designed by Swedish designer Therese Zetterberg. I met Therese at her beautiful stand at White Gallery and I am a huge fan of her vintage inspired but contemporary bridal wear. I absolutely love too that the jewellery brand is named after her 16 year old self’s obsession with the the TV series Sex in the City, I ruddy adore that show! Lily and Rose are the children of Charlotte, one of the main characters in the show.

Therese explains;

“Lily and Rose is a tribute to the best TV series ever made. I was 16 years old when Sex in the City started and it was my biggest source of inspiration at the time. For three years I was a Carrie Bradshaw lookalike every weekend, quite a success in my hometown!”

On the evening guests were treated to lavender champagne and stunning choux by specialist patisserie Maître Choux. Leanne assures me she ate at least two of these on my behalf!

The  jewellery collection which is available to view in the bridal boutique and also online is a selection of pretty sparkly designs, inspired by what Therese finds beautiful, similar to the inspirations for her line of couture dresses. Mainly fashion and architecture, a mix of vintage and also regal jewels. The jewellery is really beautiful, made with Swarovski with a really accessible price point, a perfect choice for wedding day accessories and also gifts with impact for bridesmaids and others in the bridal party….or any occasion really where a bit of sparkle is in order.
