Morning Light by Leanne Jade Photography

I’m so happy to share these ethereal images with you, this gorgeous morning light shoot by Leanne Jade Photography.

I have featured Leanne Jade Photography on Adored Bride before and Leanne represented the blog at a gorgeous jewellery launch in London and I am a big fan of her work. I loved this shoot because of the gorgeous light in the images. Whenever I feature real weddings, some of my favourite images are the early images of the day, the quiet moments, getting ready and these reminded me of that.

Callie’s make up and hair is beautiful, natural and dewy and was expertly created by Julia Edwards MUA, it perfectly suits the light pouring in through the windows. The shoot was styled by Karen Lambert of Martels Bridal boutique and features beautiful gowns and veils by Emma Bridals. All shot on location at Great Dunmow’s Saracens Head historic country pub.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do, thanks to Leanne Jade Photography and the talented creatives;

Thank you to Leanne Jade Photography for these gorgeous image from the creative team,

Romantic Provence Elopement Inspiration by Jennifer Jane Photography

I am loving this beautiful inspiration shoot from Jennifer Jane Photography with it’s warmth and dappled sunlight and the most gorgeous destination setting. She brought together some very talented wedding supplier to create her vision and it makes me want to book a flight and escape to the country!

I honestly can’t think of anything more romantic then eloping to beautiful France, the home of romance, for an intimate wedding. This styled shoot is set in the heart of Provence, a region in Southeastern France, and bordering Italy and the Mediterranean Sea. Well known for it’s diverse landscapes. From the Southern Alps and Pine Forests to the rolling vineyards, Olive Groves and Lavender Fields. And the original home of the rustic shabby chic style.

The shoot is located at Clos Saint Esteve, a tradition and authentic Provencal Estate and their neighbouring Olive Groves. The perfect romantic and peaceful hideaway for a couple to say their I do’s and enjoy an intimate wedding breakfast. The second location is the neighbouring Olive Grove, a beautiful setting to enjoy a romantic afternoon walk and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine.

Inspired by the authentic rustic landscape and the natural environment, the greens of the Olive Groves and whites of the rustic buildings and interior décor, the shoot was styled to be simple but luxurious with an elegant table setting decorated with beautiful white Lilacs.

The Brides look was created to be soft and romantic, with a beautiful lace and chiffon wedding dress, simple but elegant shoes and a delicate diamante and pearl string hair piece, worn in lightly tousled hair to complete the look. The dashing Groom’s look of a simple pair of chinos, cool white shirt with braces and bow tie beautifully complemented the relaxed romantic feel.

Inspired by the authentic rustic landscape and the natural environment, the greens of the Olive Groves and whites of the rustic buildings and interior décor,

Wintery Whitby Engagement Shoot by Maddie Farris Photography

Wintery Whitby Engagement Shoot by Maddie Farris Photography

Wintery Whitby Engagement Shoot by Maddie Farris Photography

The fabulously misty, gothic, brooding Whitby Coast was the setting for Luke and Sarah’s gorgeous engagement shoot that I am sharing with you today.  I am so in love with these images by the super lovely and mega talented Maddie Farris Photography., I love the winter, getting all bundled up in cozy warm jumpers, it’s my happy place! Whitby is a very happy place for Luke and Sarah, they got engaged there and now have these beautiful images to record this happy time in their lives;

I love it when couple’s come up with adventurous ideas for their engagement sessions, when Luke & Sarah asked if I’d mind traveling up to Whitby with them for their engagement photographs I jumped at the chance! We spent the road-trip up to Yorkshire eating plenty of snacks & talking lots about games, music, films, anime & the odd medieval festival. I got to know these two pretty well during our travels which is all part of having engagement photos – getting to know me so we don’t feel like strangers on your wedding day!

Whitby is somewhere very special to Sarah & Luke. Luke proposed to Sarah on the beach between the two piers and it was really lovely to be able to photograph these two in the same spot. It also meant that because these two know the town well, they were able to take me to the best pie shop in town which I greatly appreciated! We also got to see some pretty awesome sights such as some amazing view points over Whitby and the breath-taking Whitby Abbey.

Whitby is known for its rich history & Gothic vibes. Some may say the weather wasn’t great the day of Sarah & Luke’s engagement session, but I’m much more excited by grey skies and sea mist when it comes to engagement photos than sunshine! The weather meant for some really atmospheric photographs that capture the essence of the town and of course, Sarah & Luke’s love for each other. I came home with tired feet, a bottle of mead and some exciting photographs to share – the signs of a brilliant day!

“The photographs are so wonderful! you have captured something truly special, we will cherish these images forever thank you so much.” – Sarah & Luke.

Thanks so much to Maddie for these gorgeous pictures and to Luke and Sarah for sharing them with us.

with love

Chris and Kay’s Rosebury Shoot by Carn Patrick Photography

Chris and Kay’s Rosebury Shoot by Carn Patrick Photography

I love these images by Carn Patrick Photography of Kay and Chris’s pre-wedding couples shoot in the pretty grass fields of Cleveland Hills. Photographed in June before their big day in August this year (congratulations guys!), Kay and Chris’s images are so lovely. I adore the natural feel of these pictures and how relaxed the couple are.  Carn has captured Kay and Chris in a truly authentic way and I’m sure they will absolutely cherish these amazing images;

The Love Story

We have known each other a little over 10 years. Through Chris’s sister as she is my best friend. Finally 4 years ago we took the plunge and gave us a go, our close friends and family had known we should be together long before us, we were a little late to the party… better late than never and yes his sister is still my bestie!

Then in May 2017, two days before my looming 30Th birthday Chris took me on a road trip to a mystery location which turned out to be the Lake District. We checked into the beautiful Dale Head hall and after unpacking we went off exploring. Chris had already spoken with the hotel so knew where he wanted to end up for the big moment! After a dodgy detour and lots of complaining from me we made it, Chris had gone ahead as we were nearly at the top of the hill.

I finally caught him up and he was sat on the bench looking over Lake Thirlmere. He gave me a card to read and started playing our song Ed Sheeran thinking out loud and he dropped to one knee and popped the question, obviously it was and easy yes! He even remembered the champers! Perfect! Chris designed my ring (with a little help from his sister Rachael) its from Lloyds Family Jewellery.

The Shoot with Carn Patrick Photography

We spoke to Carn Patrick about where to have our couple’s shoot before the wedding and decided to head to Cleveland Hills on the 8th June. We wanted to capture Roseberry Toping within the shoot as this is where we had our first date.

We were very boring with our ‘what to wear’ haha, just white tee and jeans, his and hers, Topshop and Topman.

We love how relaxed we felt for the shoot. Carn was brilliant, with loads of great tips to remember on the Day ‘belly button to belly button’ was our fav! We just had fun.

Advice for Others

My advice for other couples would just be, don’t worry about what to wear and just relax and have fun and find a photographer who is as excited and passionate about capturing your wedding as you are, just priceless.

Retro Eighties Vibe City Elopement by Lucy Hannah Photography

Retro Eighties Vibe City Elopement by Lucy Hannah Photography

I love this city elopement shoot by Lucy Hannah Photography, partly because the bride reminded me a little of Madonna in Desperately Seeking Susan and being a child of the eighties, this appealed right off! I think it was the cute birdcage bow veil by Coco B Designs, leather jacket, leopard print coat and makeup by Glamorama Makeup.  I get sent quite a few styled shoots and I really enjoy looking at them all, as they are a chance for photographers and wedding creatives to just let loose.
Photographer Lucy Hannah shot this city elopement in and around one of my favourite venue’s in Liverpool city centre  Oh Me Oh My. It’s a gorgeous listed building, with huge windows that allow light to flood in and a stunning rooftop garden with incredible views of the iconic skyline.
Jamsine’s bridal outfits are provided by forward thinking and cutting edge bridal boutique Flamingo Boulevard Bridal Salon. The cute cakes are from Claire Southern and look beautiful! Jasmine’s beautiful bouquet and Sam’s buttonhole were created by Lula Flower Shop with confetti by Willow and Blossom.
Lucy explains a little more about this city elopement;
With small weddings becoming more popular, we wanted to showcase that you don’t have to choose between a wedding with just the two of you and amazing details. You can still enjoy planning the details and have fun with it.
Jasmine and Sam have been inseparable for years. They are laid back spirits and share a love of good food, binge watching tv shows, music and art. Creative people at heart they love the little details and craftsmanship that goes into quality products made by independent businesses. They enjoy museums and art galleries, exploring the city and cozying up in their favourite coffee shops, and socialising in their favourite bars.
With busy lives they wanted their city elopement wedding to be a chance for them to truly take some time out just for them. To treat themselves and celebrate their story, the things they love and the fact they found each other. Laid back, no fuss and simple, laced with beautiful details.”

Huge thanks to Lucy Hannah Photography and the team for this gorgeous city elopement!
